8.57km, no idea about time, pace or anything else because I forgot my watch. Tried to focus on the feeling, which I should do more often.
After last Saturday, I had the worst courbatures I have felt in a long, long time. I have mixed feelings about being able to express pain in French. Anyway, yesterday walking was an act of courage, and today I tried to pull the rain excuse, but I have set routines that make it hard to escape.
So I went training. Started off with lots of pain in my thighs (duh!). Tried to distract myself by chatting with my mates. Felt a little fatigue, but manageable. We did some école de course exercises, which consist in running in different modes, slopes, skipping, running backwards, paying attention to posture and arms, etc. This is good for me because I have been trying to improve my posture lately.
All in all, it was a good, fun session in a misty, rainy forest.
Note to self: I love my trail trainers, but they are not good at all for road and pavement, even though we run a bit through the forest.
